Numeric codes are given in decimal form then hexadecimal form. For instance, the code upside-down A (ɐ) is both ɐ and ɐ in hexadecimal form.
Warnings: The numeric codes codes will not be visible on Internet Explorer for Mac or Netscape 4.7 for Mac and may not visible on Internet Explorer for Windows unless the fonts are pre-specified.
These charts show basic characters only. Check the latest Unicode charts to look for any additions to this block.
This table is organized by accent diacritic, then vowel. See the HTML Accent Chart or the Old English HTML codes for capital letters with accents.
For each combination, codes in bold teal are entity codes or decimal Unicode numeric codes. Codes in navy are Unicode hexadecimal codes.
The Combine code can be used after any letter to create a diacritic. Examples will be given with open o /ɔ/. For example to create a nasalized open o /ɔ̃/, you can use the entity code for open o (ɔ or ̏) plus the combining diacritic code. The decimal version of ɔ̃ would be ɔ̃ and the hexadecimal version would be ̏̃.
Note: If a cell contains just a double dash, there is no code. Combinig accents are shown over a dash.
